📘 Circulation Policy Statements

Eligibility:

Circulation services are free for everyone (students, staff, and visitors).

Borrowing Limit:

Each user may borrow up to three (3) books per week.

Loan Period:

Books may be borrowed for one (1) week.

Renewals:

Books may be renewed once if no other user has requested them (see Renewal Policy).

Non-circulating Items:

Reference books, theses, and periodicals are for in-library use only.

Responsibility:

Borrowers are responsible for materials checked out in their name.

Lost or Damaged Books:

The fine for lost or damaged books is double the current price of the book.

Replacement of the same title and edition may be accepted in lieu of payment, upon approval.

Overdue Returns:

Users who fail to return materials on time may temporarily lose borrowing privileges.

Confidentiality:

Library records related to borrowing are confidential and not shared without authorization.

Library Rights:

The library reserves the right to recall any book before its due date when needed for teaching or reference purposes.
